Today IRCC published some fantastic news about new changes to the Family sponsorship programs for spouse, common-law spouse and dependent children.
You can find the full announcement here, but here are the strong points:
– new processing time of 12 months (instead of 26 months)
– simplified lists of documents and guides
– some documents can be added later to the file
– yearly intake of 64,000 applicants instead of previous 47,000
These are very positive changes for 2017!
